Playing in normal (not Trusted) mode does not guarantee a Trust score penalty and Players in both modes are not excluded from playing with each other.

Just if you want to play on valve servers quit the game close the faceit anti-cheat and the run the game again and the game will launch normaly in trusted mode. Since the update Valve released with their Anti-Cheat, it isn't possible for third party programs to interfere with the game itself.
